Jacquelyn’s Floral Farm is a small, family-owned flower farm in Woodland, Washington. Flowers are grown organically, seasonally, and locally, with a focus on the joy of growing and sharing them with the community.

Meet The Growers

Gardening has always been my constant. For years, it was something I fit in around life, work, and family, now I’m finally in a place where I can let it be something more.

I’m a wife, a mom to two grown kids, and a full-time veterinary technician, which makes me a lifelong animal lover by nature. Woodland, Washington has been my home for over 20 years. After spending two decades on a city lot where nearly every inch of grass eventually became garden, my husband Matt and I are starting fresh on a gently sloped five acres. I’m beginning small, working one section at a time, and letting the land and the seasons guide how it grows. Matt has supported every garden idea I’ve ever dreamed up, building whatever I imagine while I handle the planting and care, and is happily along for the ride as we start this new journey.

Some flowers never lose their magic for me. Rudbeckia, echinacea, and hydrangeas still stop me in my tracks every time, and I hope to weave plenty of them into the landscape alongside my annual beds. This farm is a natural extension of a lifelong passion, grown slowly, thoughtfully, and without pressure to be anything other than what it’s meant to become.

I’m excited to see where this next chapter leads and grateful to share it, one season at a time.

Jackie Jacobs

Matt Jacobs

I work full time and take pride in supporting my family. Outside of work, I’m happiest being outdoors. I was meant to be on land and to take care of it, and our five acres gives me the chance to do just that.

Weekends are for projects. Jackie has no shortage of ideas, and I enjoy figuring out how to build whatever she dreams up. Mowing, brush hogging, fixing, and maintaining the property is my way to slow down and reset from a busy work life.

Animals are part of our daily life here. I enjoy spending time outside with our dogs, and I’m the primary caretaker for the chickens. They’re endlessly entertaining to watch and reward us with fresh eggs in return.

I fully support Jackie and her vision for a cut flower garden. I handle the heavy lifting, she handles the growing, and together we’re building something meaningful, one project, one season, and one muddy weekend at a time.

Meet The Farmhands

Poppy

AKA-Pop Pop, Poppy Pants, Popple, Pop Monster, Popalotomous

Poppy is a fiercely independent Pomeranian with an unmatched obsession with food. She can solve treat puzzles in record time and would do anything for a snack. Her time in the garden is spent in search of “rabbit pellet snacks.” Poppy is gentle with all animals and fully trusted with the chickens.

River is a delicately built Standard Poodle weighing in at only 35lbs. She enjoys standing watch over the fields, perfectly still, hoping for a deer sighting. Along with Fig, she spends her time running the property, roughhousing, and searching for signs of rabbits and moles. Though she hasn’t caught any yet, her strong prey drive means she always knows when they’re nearby.

River

AKA-Rivvy Bear, River Lyn, River Linda, Linda

Figgy Azalea

AKA-Figgy, Fig, Figgy Newton, Figgylicious…..Trouble

Fig is a more stout Standard Poodle, weighing in at 55 pounds. She loves being outside and would happily stay there most of the day if given the choice. Fig is fairly well behaved, but if you take your eyes off her for too long, she’ll find a mole hole and do her best to dig her way to it. She’s also quick to locate any source of water and turn it into a makeshift swim hole. Fig brings equal parts chaos and love to the farm..

Our Story

After 20 years of gardening on a city lot in Woodland, Washington, we found ourselves with the opportunity to start fresh on a gently sloped five acres just outside city limits. What began as weekend projects and lifelong habits has grown into something more intentional. (Jackie has always been the grower, and Matt the builder) we’ve spent years dreaming, planting, fixing, and shaping the land together.

This first year is about building a solid foundation: creating ground we can truly grow on and working through the challenges of farming on sloped land with a well that doesn’t produce quite enough water. We’re taking our time, learning the land, and letting it guide what this farm will become. The direction will come as the seasons unfold.
